D7design automates design, catalog and publishing production, with InDesign at the center, alongside Photoshop and Illustrator. We're based in Innsbruck, Austria, and work with companies across the German-speaking market. Our plugins are sold worldwide.
We come from catalog production ourselves. Our tools support the production of catalogs with a combined print run of close to 100 million copies a year, so we know what deadlines, correction rounds and endless special cases feel like.
D7design is led by David Siebenförcher: a background in technical computing, many years in design production, and today a focus on UXP plugins for Adobe InDesign.

Four colors, one key.
Every printed image is made of cyan, magenta, yellow and black. The K in CMYK stands for “key,” the key plate. It adds outline and depth and holds everything together.
We work the same way: our tools are the colors, and we are the key. Each tool handles one job. We bring them together into a production that fits.
